Kate Curtin, Head Coach
Hey
everyone! My name is Kate Curtin and I will be returning as the 11-12 coach this year. I myself have been swimming for almost 12 years and I
am so excited to be given the opportunity to coach and endorse the
sport that I love. My swimming experience includes swimming on the
Charles River YMCA Tsunamis for 8 years, teaching swimming lessons at
the YMCA, swimming on the Needham High School Varsity Team for 4 years
and acting as captain my senior year, and swimming as well as acting as a CIT for the Sharks for 4
summers. I am approaching my senior year at the University of
Massachusetts in Amherst where I am majoring in History, minoring in Political Science, and plan on pursuing a Masters in History Education. I look
forward to the 2012 season and hope that the team is as excited as I am!
Brian Keeler, Assistant Head Coach
My name is Brian Keeler, and I am the returning coach for the 13-14 year old swimmers this year. This will be my third year as a coach, but I have been a member of the Sharks for almost twelve years now, as well as having swam for the Dedham Clippers a number of years. I have some prior experience with swimming instruction from the lessons I taught at the Charles River YMCA, and I was also the captain of the high school swim team for my senior year. I am very excited about this year, and I look forward to a successful season!
