Welcome to the Needham Sharks Swim Team
We are pleased to welcome your child of children to the 2012 Needham Sharks Swim Team. Our objective is to offer an opportunity to all children to improve and refine their swimming skills through low-key competition. Along with competition and sportsmanship, sports courtesy will be an important part of the summer.
Swimmers will be encouraged to identify and set goals in relation to their abilities and interests. Due to safety concerns, swimmers are expected to be in the pool during entire practice time. If for whatever reason this becomes a problem, parents will be notified.
Be
aware that ages 7 & 8 will be required to demonstrate that they can
swim 25 yards, any strokes. This will be a strict requirement - no
exceptions - and clearly it is related to safety.

General Information
The Needham Swim Team welcomes ages 7 to 18 years old.
The season runs 6/21/11 - 8/13/11.
Practice times are 9:30-11:00am each day at Needham's Rosemary Pool.

Requirements of Children interested
in the Needham Swim Team

Ability to swim 25 yards without stopping

Submit a completed swim team application. Applications can be picked up at the Needham Park & Rec office. 2012 applications are also available on the homepage of this site for download.

Submit a check payable to the Needham Swim Association as directed in the application materials.
